One day walking in Bordeaux

Bordeaux worthwhile to have a visit once in life. I lived in Calabria (south of Italy), Rome, Milan, Bristol, London…but Bordeaux remains the best city where I lived. The atmosphere, the friendly people, the nice “bar a vin” and “les huitres” (the oysters) as well the wine make everything perfect.

This is a video I recently took with my Iphone 7 – recorded in 4K. What do you think about ?
Here you see the Grand Theathre, the Place PEY BERLAND, the place Camille Julian, Place la Bourse, and “le miroir”. Yes, I agree with you: it looks marvellous. But it’s really like this!

Les huitres and du VIN blanc

You can start your one day walking in Bordeaux just from marche du capucin. Especially on Saturday or Sunday you could a glass of wine (blanc) (white) and les huitres (oysters) for 10euro. Then you could move to visit Saint Michel place and its church. This church is older than 400 years! It’s the biggest (3rd) “campanile” of the Europe. Do not stop and walk on the riverside (sur le quai). Have a long walk and appreciate the river, the people on the riverside, walking and skating! I believe this is the best spot of Bordeaux. Have a sit on “Maison Ecocitoyenne of Bordeaux“. Get an aperitif there or just a glass of water to rest.

You could also rent a bike and have a nice biking along the river. It’s only 1.50 euro for 30 minutes! 🙂 you should go in one of multiple VCUB along the riverside. Insert your credit card. 150 euro is the deposit… but do not worry- they will give you back 🙂
